Our content studio in Chelmsford includes a photography studio downstairs, alongside a more relaxed and homely upstairs area — giving you different looks and backgrounds to work with all under one roof.
From clean and simple product shots to lifestyle photography, talking-to-camera videos, social media content and brand campaigns, you can switch things up throughout your shoot.
We also have a selection of different coloured backdrops, lighting and setups, so you’re not stuck with the same white wall for every piece of content.
Bring your own props, products, outfits and ideas — we’ll provide the space to make it happen.

City Space is based in Chelmsford, Essex, making it a convenient creative space for businesses, brands and content creators across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.
Studio hire starts from £49 + VAT per hour, and we offer a 10% discount on all-day bookings.
Absolutely. Full-day bookings are ideal if you’re planning a content day and want to create lots of photography and video in one session.
Yes! You’re very welcome to bring your own props, products, clothing and anything else you need for your shoot.
Yes. If you’d like professional photography alongside your studio hire, we can arrange a photographer to work with you.
Absolutely. City Space is suitable for filming social media content, Reels, TikToks, talking-to-camera videos, interviews, demonstrations and much more.
Of course! That’s what we’re here for. Tell us what you’re creating and we’ll help you work out which part of the studio will work best for you. Plus we will be there on the day with you.
We will do our best to accommodate your time and date but it will be based on availability and bookings will only be confirmed via email.
